Installation

Site Preparation: In order to ensure no additional costs are incurred during installation, it is recommended that these steps are Install-1.jpgunderstood and followed, If you have any issues or questions regarding these steps please do not hesitate to contact Park Supplies.

Remove old equipment: Depending on the age and condition of your equipment you may be able to donate it, be sure to conduct a safety audit of existing equipment before making the decision to do so.

If you are disposing of your equipment you can contact local recycling centres as you may be able to get money back for scrap materials etc, this can go a long way for new equipment.

Level the site surface: For maximum safety and usability all inclines greater than 2% grade should be leveled, unless your playground design has allowed for grade changes.

Locate underground utilities: Check with your local authority and request an underground services plan prior to installation, Park Supplies installation team take no responsibility for underground service damage, however our installers are experienced in working around these and best care is taken to ensure minimal or no damage is caused during installation.

Access: Make sure the site is clean and free from any excess ground/ scrap/ materials from earth works or construction, ensure all access routes are clear and are suitable for large trucks to pass through, if you have any concerns on space or access routes please let your installation team know as soon as possible.

Installation: What’s covered?Install-2.jpg

Hole auguring: Our installation team will initially inspect the site and ensure it is prepared for your new playground to be constructed, the site will be marked out to confirm the playground positioning. The holes required for posts and activities will then be augured and prepared for concrete, *excludes hard digging.

Equipment installation: Once the site is prepared and holes augured the installation team will begin constructing your new playground, paving stones are provided and placed at the base of all holes to create a supportive barrier between the posts, concrete and ground, these help stablise the whole playground and set a level benchmark to work from, from this stage onwards you will see your new playground quickly grow from the ground up.

Concrete: Your playground will now be constructed and looking great!
At this point 20MPA structural concrete will be poured into all holes, setting your playground into stone, this is one of the final stages in the construction process and is vital in ensuring your playground will stand the test of time.

Freight / Delivery: Unless other wise specified the installation pricing includes all freight and delivery costs for your playground. This includes safety wrapping of the activities protecting your asset until the playground is ready for Install-3.jpginstallation.

*Hard digging: Hard digging is not included in a standard installation, if rock/ hard clay or unexpected items are struck during auguring additional charges will apply. If you suspect your site may have any of these issues let your installation team know immediately.
